Incoming: DJ Harvey

There’s a rumble creaking the foundations of clubland as news of the comeback of the legendary DJ Harvey comes flooding in.   Set to return to the UK for two momentous shows following a self-imposed ten year exile in the U.S. Cambridge-born, Hawaii-dwelling Harvey Bassett plays London’s Oval Space on the 19th October, and Manchester’s Warehouse Project on the 25th, two dates that are now firmly planted in the minds of his cult followers, appreciators, and fellow dancefloor colleagues. Kingdom Collective are working on the Harvey bandwagon with Red Bull Music Academy to make these two shows as unforgettable as their anticipation presumes they will be, and with Harvey taking centre stage on the decks all night, they should be top special jams.  Expect anything from proper disco to rock & roll, Balearica, proto techno, electro-funk, soul, house and beyond. Having popped up at some of Europe’s finest clubs and festivals over the past year – Berghain, RBMA‘s Sónar showcase, Robert Johnson, the list goes on, his return to Blighty is finally here. Doff your hats, Bassett’s back.  See you down the front?
