Vacating No Vacancies

After three months dishing out Soulshakers cocktail concoctions, ‘haute-dogs’ and weekend beats from the likes of Tim Burgess, Justin Robertson, Slugrave, Bill Brewster, Clancy, Faze Action, Greco-Roman Sound System, Matthew & Jolyon, Nadia Ksaiba, Tayo3000, Fort Romeau, Graeme Fisher, Joe Goddard, Raf Daddy, Ray Mang, Soul Jazz, The Invisible and many, many more, Sorry, No Vacancies has shut up shop. The closing party saw the eminent Frank Tope spin some of that priceless magic that’s made him the party fav of everyone from Groove Armada and The Chemical Brothers to Basement Jaxx and the Ibiza massif, alongside Mr Shiver’s vinyl-only eclectic grooves. It’s been three months of over-indulging in drinks, dawgs, and dancing, and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. ┬áHere’s to the movers, shakers, music-makers, winners, sinners, dawg dinners, blurry eyes, foggy heads, mornings after catatonic in bed… to everyone who came, saw and conquered the floor… everyone who brought some joy to our Brixton abode. It’s been fun.
